Location:
Pend Oreille County is located in Northeastern Washington State, 45 miles northeast of Spokane, Washington. It’s bordered by Canada’s British Columbia Province and by Idaho State.

In 2006, Pend Oreille County generated $44,000.00 in hotel taxes, an 8.6% increase over the previous year. Visitors to the county spent $21.5 million in 2006 according to the State of Washington Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development (CTED). Local tax receipts totaled $1.2 million. The number of tourism jobs in the county averages 320.
