Peregrine Falcons in Pend Oreille County We have the best birding sites! Noisy Tundra swans spend February and March on Calispel Lake on their way home. The bald eagles soar overhead up and down the river and above the roads. Blue heron wing their way over the water near the Usk Bridge. We keep finding new species – so far 267 have been sighted. Download our species list on our " Things To Do " page under Birds & Birding, see how many you can spot.
